Location: Comfort Inn and Suites, 3020 Blanshard Street, Victoria
Type: 5 Round Swiss with Premier and U1600 sections. CFC rated.
BC vs WA Match to be held at same time and location
Prizes: Trophies and Guaranteed minimum $1,000 cash prizes:
Premier $300/$200 and $100 U1800
U1600 $200/$100 and $50 U1200
Top Unrated $50
Entry Fee: $50 up to and including Dec 17th, then $60 up to and including Jan 16th. $75 on site up to 5pm on Jan 17th. $10 family discount for 2nd and higher entries same family. Add $20 if playing up and your rating is 1500 or higher. Add $40 if playing up and your rating between 1400 and 1500. (eligibility to play up based on lifetime high, play up fees based on current rating).
Time Control: Game/90+30 sec. increment
5 Rounds: Fri 6pm, Sat 10am and 3pm, Sun 10am and 3pm

- CFC membership required. BC residents annual fee $38 adult, $25 junior. Available from the CFC, with online registration or on site. Tournament membership (TM) $16 adult, $8 junior (good for this event only). Free TM for new unrated players resident in Canada.
