The Victoria Chess Club meets every Monday (except statutory holidays) from 6:30 to 10:30.

February Fundraiser: Sunday February 12. A five round active event with proceeds going to support this year's Grand Pacific Open.
6th Annual Grand Pacific Open! Victoria's (and BC's) biggest tournament of the year. Now in it's 6th year with $5000 in guaranteed prizes. April 6-9, 2012
49th Annual Canadian Open: Rarely in BC and never before in Victoria. The Canadian event of the season... July 8-13, 2012

Blitz Tournaments: First (non holiday) Monday of each month
Other Events:
- a 4 round active tournament played over 2 Mondays is held at the club once per semester. See Club Schedule for info.
- a 5 round active fundraiser tournament is held twice a year (late summer and in February).

Club membership:
$3 per night table fee.
As of Jan. 2011, the club no longer has an annual membership fee. Those with time remaining on their annual membership pay $2/night until expiry.
Your first night at the club is on the house. 2nd and 3rd family member gets a discount.
