CFC Quick-Rated Fundraiser for Victoria Chess Club

Where: Commonwealth Recreation Centre, 4636 Elk Lake Road, Saanich
When: Saturday, February 1st, 2025 from 10 am to 5 pm
Rounds Times: 10 am, 11:15 am, 1:30 pm, 2:45 pm, 4 pm
Time Control: Game/25 with 5 second increment after each move
Entry Fee: $25 plus $4 junior (under 20) or $8 adult if not current CFC member
Sections: 6 top CFC Quick rated players will play round-robin for championship. Remainder will play 5-round swiss open
Prizes: trophies for championship round-robin winner, open winner and top U1400

Special Instructions: free parking, coffee shop on site. Good selection of chess books for sale $10 cash each. Proceeds to Vic Chess Club

There was a lottery before the tournament started. The Berger table was used for the Round-Robin pairings.
There was one withdrawal, due to weather, in the last round.
