The Victoria Chess Club

The club has decided to close again due to the current wave of infections. Hopefully, we will open again soon.

The tournament that was in place this December will probably continue when we reopen. Standings to date are here:

Current & Upcoming Events:

BC Open: Feb. 19-21, Richmond

Victoria Championship: March 5-6, 2022. Local players only.

Grand Pacific Open: April 15-18 (Easter) 2022; Victoria

Keres Memorial May 21-23, 2022; Richmond

Club championship (Gonnason Cup): 2 active games against the same opponent, the second Wednesday of each month. See Standings:

Active Chess: 2 rounds on the third Wednesday of each month. Trophy every 4 months. See Standings:
